This Webinar is for experienced  immunisers who already deliver Travel Health Consultations

The training will cover :

  • Risk assessment: - the traveller; the destination; travel duration; travel   itineraries;  special needs and complex travellers
  • Vaccine preventable diseases, travel vaccines and schedules
  • Malaria – advice and medications
  • Health promotion and preventive measures for non-vaccine preventable   travel  related diseases and concerns such as travellers diarrhoea and accidents.
  • Health care abroad and health insurance
  • Practicalities of leading travel health consultations
  • Recap on current Malaria and Yellow Fever guidance (This is not Yellow Fever update training as required by NaTHNaC)
  • Links to key resources
