The training is to provide clarity and greater understanding of the current clinical guidelines relating to the diagnosis of asthma and the ongoing management and monitoring  of patients with asthma in a primary care setting

• Review of asthma diagnosis, phenotypes and endotypes
• Impact of asthma in the UK
• UK asthma guidelines
• Asthma diagnosis: clinical assessment, objective tests (peak flow, spirometry and FeNO)
• Asthma management (ICS, SABA, add on therapies and environmental issues)
• Asthma monitoring and annual review
