This accredited course is for nurses who currently undertake cervical cytology screening and require their 3 yearly update of their skills.

The  training will be be carried out by our Specialist Nurse Practitioner (women’s health), Faculty Registered Trainer (FSRH) and Lecturer

This session covers all criteria required by the NHS Cervical Screening Program (NHSCSP)

• Revision of A&P
• Good sample taking practice
• Health and safety and infection control 
• Primary HPV screening, results and recall, and top tips to reduce inadequacy rates
